A 66 in round two put Woods at the top of the leaderboard and three shots ahead of Scotland's Colin Montgomerie. Woods improved in round three with a 65 and extended his lead to nine shots over the new second-placed man Constatino Rocca (Italy). A final round 69 saw Woods finish on 270 with Tom Kite taking scond place a long way behind on 282. |
