Uniquely, the 2008 Göteborg Masters features three times in the above list yet it was held only once as a Ladies European Tour event. In the first round, Felicity Johnson shot a 62 which Gwladys Nocera equalled in round two and then Nina Reus equalled the Tour record with a 61 in the final round.
Trish Johnson (England), 1987 and 1990, Dale Reid and Jane Connachan (both Scotland), 1991, all shot rounds of 58 in the Bloor Homes Eastleigh Classic played on the par-65/66 Fleming Park Municipal Golf Club at Eastleigh, Hampshire, England. It was par 65 in 1987, and par-66 in 1990 and 1991. The course contained seven par-3 holes and one par-5 which measured just 372 yards.
The lowest 72 Hole Total is 259 by France's Gwladys Nocera at the 2008 Göteborg Masters. Trish Johnson did, hwever, shoot 242 in the 1987 Bloor Homes Eastleigh Classic (as above). Johnson's total was achieved with rounds of 64-60-60-58. |
