Danny Jin-Myung Lee was born in South Korea but moved to New Zealand when as a youngster.

South Africa’s Dale Hayes became the youngest winner of a European event when he won the 1971 Spanish Open, at 18 years 291 days, but that was the year before the formation of the PGA European Tour.

When he became the youngest winner on the PGA European Tour, Matteo Manasero also became the youngest Tour member, surpassing the 17 years 200 days of Seve Ballesteros who became a full Tour member at the end of the 1974 season.
